Supply Chain Manager
Location: Reno, NV (9 AM - 5 PM EST, Monday - Friday)
Position Overview
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing supply chain operations, vendor relationships, and inventory management to ensure seamless pharmaceutical product availability. This role plays a critical function in demand forecasting, regulatory compliance, and logistics oversight, ensuring that the company maintains a reliable and efficient supply chain. Working closely with Business Development, R&D, and Operations teams, the Supply Chain Manager manages supplier handoffs, monitors stock levels, and ensures regulatory compliance, particularly in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain & Inventory Management
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Implement demand forecasting and purchase order planning to ensure product availability.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain efficiency.
- Support the transition from NetSuite to Microsoft Dynamics Business Central for ERP optimization.
Vendor & Logistics Oversight
- Serve as the primary liaison with vendors once they are onboarded, ensuring clear and proactive communication.
- Manage shipping, logistics, and supply chain coordination for timely product delivery.
- Ensure all regulatory documentation, compliance requirements, and quality control measures are met.
- Oversee vendor performance, resolving supply issues and optimizing supplier relationships.
Regulatory & Compliance Management
- Ensure supply chain operations adhere to FDA guidelines and pharmaceutical industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate supply chain records and regulatory documentation.
- Work closely with internal teams to align supply chain operations with broader business objectives.
Key Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in pharmaceuticals or life sciences.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, vendor relations, and forecasting.
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics Business Central preferred).
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to manage supplier interactions and logistics.
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills, with a detail-oriented approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with FDA regulations, quality systems, and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with virtual production models and remote supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in KPI tracking, demand planning, and data-driven decision-making.
